All orders made before 2:00 PM EST are processed within 2-3 business days. Items ordered on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) start to process and ship as early as the following business day.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

We offer standard free shipping via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, and Freight for all orders in the United States. We do not currently ship to international locations.

Damages & Missing Items

Only refuse the items that are damaged, keep and sign for the items that are in good condition and be sure to notate the items that are being refused for damages clearly on the delivery receipt. You must contact our Customer Service Department at info@minisplitsystemsdirect.com to report which product(s) were missing and/or refused for damages and which product(s) were accepted at the time of delivery. After our Shipping Department receives confirmation from the Freight LTL Company we will promptly ship out the replacement product(s) to you.

Although Mini Split Systems Direct is NOT responsible for shipping damage, if your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to info@minisplitsystemsdirect.com  and we can assist with filing a claim against the shipping carrier to cover the cost of damages.

Pre-Orders, Backorders, and Out-of-Stock Items:

Mini Split Systems Direct is dedicated to sourcing any item you may need and getting it to you as quickly as possible. Any items that are out of stock, or available for Pre-Order will be noted on the product page. You are welcome to place an order for Pre-Order items, backorder items, and for items that are out of stock, and will ship them the second they become available from the manufacturer, ensuring you get the item before anyone else. Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and the purchaser is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. A 15% restocking fee and the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refundPlease allow up to 10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account. Cancellations

All orders canceled after 24 hours are subject to a 5% administration fee, If your order has not been shipped yet, this is the only fee you will incur. This is a fee that covers administrative and personnel fees.

If your order has been shipped, you will not be charged a 5% administration fee, the standard return procedures will apply and you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, and a 15% restocking fee will be ducted from your refund. Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method that you used when placing your order.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (see return process above), and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Our goal is to consistently provide the best pricing in the marketplace online and we work very diligently to do so. If you happen to see another online shop that offers a lower price than us within six months of your date please let us know and we’ll be happy to refund the difference on your original payment method. Moreover, because we are consistently working with our suppliers to get better rates we know that you can feel very comfortable and confident that you are seeing the best prices that can be provided for the products listed on our site.

Moving forward if you find the same item that we carry on another website that has a lower price please submit that to us within six months of your purchase date and we will refund you the difference.

Our Price Match Policy has some limitations:

Can I place my order to be delivered outside the United States?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Refunds

Cancellations

All orders canceled after 24 hours are subject to a 5% administration fee, If your order has not been shipped yet, this is the only fee you will incur. This is a fee that covers administrative and personnel fees.

Damages and issues

Please inspect all packages for damaged or missing items before accepting your shipment. If any of the items are missing or appear to have any type of damage; Mark the Receipt Damaged and/or missing (write which items are missing, or damaged and describe the damage).

Only refuse the items that are damaged, keep and sign for the items that are in good condition and be sure to notate the items that are being refused for damages clearly on the delivery receipt. You must contact our Customer Service Department at info@minisplitsystemsdirect.com to report which product(s) were missing and/or refused for damages and which product(s) were accepted at the time of delivery. After our Shipping Department receives confirmation from the Freight LTL Company we will promptly ship out the replacement product(s) to you.

Although Mini Split Systems Direct is NOT responsible for shipping damage, if your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to info@minisplitsystemsdirect.com  and we can assist with filing a claim against the shipping carrier to cover the cost of damages.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (see return process above), and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Price Match Policy

Our goal is to consistently provide the best pricing in the marketplace online and we work very diligently to do so. If you happen to see another online shop that offers a lower price than us within six months of your date please let us know and we’ll be happy to refund the difference on your original payment method. Moreover, because we are consistently working with our suppliers to get better rates we know that you can feel very comfortable and confident that you are seeing the best prices that can be provided for the products listed on our site.

Moving forward if you find the same item that we carry on another website that has a lower price please submit that to us within six months of your purchase date and we will refund you the difference.

Our Price Match Policy has some limitations:

Yes, you can change or modify your order within the first 24 hours after placing your order, after that, it will depend on the status of your order. Do all the products you carry come with a warranty?

Do you have a storefront?

Thanks again Mini Split Systems Direct for a great product and even greater customer support

I purchased this Alorair Sentinel HDi90 with pump in May 2022. It worked great after I installed it but after a couple of months, the coils started freezing up. I contacted Stephen at Mini Split Systems Direct Customer Support and went through some troubleshooting steps to determine a possible cause. It was determined that my unit may have developed a coolant leak and I needed a replacement unit. Since I only had the unit for a short time, Mini Split Systems Direct paid for shipping the unit back as well as shipping me a replacement unit. They even sent me some extra HEPA filters as well. The replacement unit has been working great. I am very happy with my Alorair Sentinel HDi90 and even happier with the superb customer service. Excellent results so far and with OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Very pleased with this unit and keeping fingers crossed it has a long trouble free life. Disclaimer. I have no business or personal interest with AlorAir or Mini Split Systems Direct. Product received from shipper in excellent condition. I also purchased the hanging kit and mounted the unit approximately 18" under floor joists in a 1900 sq ft crawl space. Would have been helpful to have another person but raising and leveling unit was slowly done by me alone. I replaced a portable unit that had a failed pump. The results are everything I had hoped for. I have the humidity level on control panel set at 55 and the separate remote sensor I'm using as a backup registers a steady 50 after 6 weeks. (digital humidistats are notorious for being off a few points so keep that in mind). I've had several portable dehumidifiers over the years and this is the first that has held humidity so evenly stable. Upon starting the dehumidifier my remote sensor read 80 and the unit read 82 and within 36 hours the reading varied between 51-55 until after a few days has steadied at 50 and holding. I also installed a 6" flexible exhaust duct to redirect air back into the crawl space. I was told by a friend that there would be a lot of noise if hung from the joists but the only noise that can be heard is a very very low "rush" only when standing in the room overhead and within 10 feet. A guest in that room most likely wouldn't notice anything. It's that quiet.

Customer Service. I want to commend Devin at Mini Split Systems Direct for his dedicated assistance over several days. He was a real blessing. I couldn't install the dehumidifier without the hanging kit which is a separate item. Unfortunately, 3 times the shipping cartons were damaged during transit and parts were lost. Devin immediately responded each time and on the 3rd time he sent the kit to me overnight which solved the problem. In this time of uncaring companies who don't treat customer issues with respect, Mini Split Systems Direct customer service was outstanding.

This Review is for the AlorAir HDi90 Dehumidifier. Firstly I’ll say that Mini Split Systems Direct customer service is excellent. I contacted them about getting a 220VAC unit. They helped me order it correctly. When there was a delay in delivery due to availability of 220V compressors they informed me, gave me an accurate fulfillment date, and provided some compensation for the delay.

The unit is fairly heavy (about 80 pounds), and so requires robust packaging. I was pleased with the quality of the packaging when it arrived.
I did not look beneath the hood of the dehumidifier. But externally the fit and finish of the unit is excellent. It looks and feels solid, and is attractive as well.

It’s heavy, as I said. And I needed assistance getting it into my crawl space. The handles on the top help two people carry it with relative ease. Once in there I was able to glide it on a piece of carpet to the installed location. I mounted it on a slightly raised piece of PT plywood, giving it a firm level base. The feet on the unit were easily adjustable with a 12mm wrench to get it perfectly level. I installed ductwork on the discharge to distribute dry air to the far ends of my crawl space. The provided outlet duct adapter is designed to easily accept flexible duct - it has a sort of screw thread inner diameter to mate with flexible duct reinforcing wire. I used solid metal duct, so I had to use a Dremel tool to grind out the internal threads on the adapter to accept my duct. This took all of ten minutes including getting the Dremel out and putting it away. The supplied 25 feet of drain tubing was about 10 feet short of my needs. But I got a 50’ roll of ¼” vinyl tubing from the big box store which fit perfectly.

I got the remote controller to go with it. For $49.00 this is a no-brainer if your installing in a crawl space. Installation with the supplied Cat-5 cable is trivial. I also ordered a spare S-916 Filter(Cassette+Prefilter), as well as two washable G3 filters. Thus, I’ll only need to enter the crawl space once each time I want to clean the filter. Changing the filter is trivial, it slides out from the side.

It’s only been installed for about a week. And I only yesterday blocked off all of my crawl space vents (so up till then I was dehumidifying all of SE Virginia…). It’s been raining for days here. But even with the crawl space vents open the humidity level in the space dropped from above 75% to about 60%. Since I blocked the vents yesterday, it’s down to 50% and dropping. And I still have work to do to better isolate my crawl space (the plastic that’s down on the ground is aged and has large gaps, especially around the sides).

So far I’m thoroughly satisfied with this product. I’ll post an update after it’s run for a while.

Extremely Efficient Dehumidifier

I installed the ALORAir HDi90 in my 2300 sq. ft. crawl space using the ALORAir hanging kit. It was quite easy but it is definitely a two-person job. The relative humidity was 77 when I turned on the machine and the following morning the humidity was 55. And that is with only the vents closed and sealed. I have not finished installing the insulation on the walls but the ground is covered with vinyl. Since I have only had it for three days I cannot comment on longevity, and I have not hooked up the remote. So far, I am thrilled with the results and quality of the dehumidifier.
