If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

We offer standard free shipping via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, and Freight for all orders in the United States. We do not currently ship to international locations.

Can I add items to my order?

Yes, please contact us a soon as possible if you need to make changes to your order and will send an invoice for the remaining amount due. Please note this may result in you receiving your order in multiple packages, and yes, you will receive a tracking number for each package.

Can I change or modify my order?

Yes, you can change or modify your order within the first 24 hours after placing your order, after that, it will depend on the status of your order. If your order has already been processed and shipped, then we may be unable to change or modify your order.

Can I place my order to be delivered outside the United States?

At this time we do not ship internationally, but please contact us we may be able to accommodate you.

How can I remove items from my order?

If you need to remove items from your order, please contact us at info@minisplitsystemsdirect.com within the first 24 hours after you placed your order. After 24 hours, you are subject to a 5% fee for the item that is cancelled to cover incurred credit card processing fees. If your order has not been shipped yet, this is the only fee you will incur.

If your order has been shipped, you will not be charged a 5% administration fee, the standard return procedures will apply and you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, and a 15% restocking fee will be ducted from your refund. Do all the products you carry come with a warranty?

Do you have a storefront?

At this time we do not have a storefront, we're an online only Authorized Dealer for all the brand we carry. We do have plans to open a storefront in the future.

How do I check the status of my order?

After placing your order you'll receive a confirmation email, and after a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped which will contain your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. How long is shipping and delivery?

All orders made before 2:00 PM EST are processed within 2 - 3 business days. Items ordered on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) start to process and ship as early as the following business day. Estimated delivery time is 3 - 7 days.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

We offer standard free shipping via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, and Freight for all orders in the United States.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.

Excellent DIY inverter!

Easy, and a support staff to help with anything that isn't. I have used almost everything out there on installs. There is only one inverter out there that rivals this one. I will pick this one from now on! 16.5kW pivoting ground mount and 90kWh of battery.

Very Quiet and Super Efficient

Let me start out by saying this inverter is very quiet and super efficient. It has replaced 2 EG4 6500EX-48 inverters. So far, I’ve seen it only use between 35 and 75 watts of power and the fans haven’t even come on. So, let me tell you about the installation and setup process.
The inverter came via UPS without any damage. The box it came in was heavy duty and had lots of good packing material. I mounted the 18Kpv and connected the LifePower4 batteries, the PV cables and the wires to the sub panel. When I turned on the 6 EG4 batteries and the 18Kpv booted up, the warning light was on. When I went to "Alarm Status" on the screen is showed a yellow circle for "Bat Com failure" and "Trip by no AC". I also had problems setting up the WIFI Dongle. So, I asked Signature Solar for help via their web page and then went looking for answers on the internet.
Here is what I discovered on the web: I was able to take care of the "Alarm Status" by upgrading the firmware on each of the EG4 LifePower4 batteries for the communications issue. For the “Trip by no AC” I went into the settings and enabled “Run without Grid”. I also changed the AC output to 60Hz from the default 50Hz, which made my UPSs happy. I eventually was able to setup the WIFI dongle by watching the videos on YouTube and applying the new knowledge.
By the time Signature Solar answered my request the next day via email I had everything working. It was nice to know they were there to help, just in case!
I ordered the Ethernet Adapter to replace the WIFI dongle. Didn’t have any issues getting it installed with a new shielded ethernet cable.
I was getting some alerts about the battery voltage being high and two times it tripped and the warning light came on. So, I changed some more settings for the charge battery voltage. I thought that by selecting Lithium and EG4 for the battery type that it would put in the correct settings but that was a false assumption.
I was able to upgrade the firmware on the inverter to fAAB-1312 and now I have it upgraded to fAAB-1616. Since I’m a retired NetWare Technician I try to bring everything up to the latest firmware.
One other addition to the setup is an EG4 Communications Hub for the EG4 LifePower4 battery rack. It’s nice to be able to see how each battery it performing along with being able to change some settings. I can also plug in my computer to the remaining open ethernet port on the last battery and run the BMS Test Windows without having to disconnect each ethernet cable on the battery that I was looking at. So, I have three ways to look at the battery info. It’s nice not being in the dark about how they are doing.
I really like having the EG4 Smart Monitoring app for my phone as well as on my desktop computer. I have an Android cell phone and a Windows 10 computer.

Great products and great pricing

It was so easy to just work out how much solar power I needed and then double it!! you cant have too much power right? Great peace of mind to be able to buy a complete system where everything works together. Shipping was easy and fast. I was kept up to date with any back ordered items and I did order well in advance so I would not be disappointed if some parts took a little longer. The staff were awesome and followed my shipping instructions perfectly.

The best of the best!

After going through a few different inverters like the Growatt, SolarEdge and EX6500's to learn about solar I finally got everything I could possibly want in 1 unit... the 18KPV. If you can imagine it, this thing can do it.

I currently have a 200amp double throw switch to manually switch to the grid if I ever upgrade (I doubt it) or need to do maintenance for any reason.

I have a 3400sq ft home with 2 heat pumps, a 3.5 ton (the lights barely dim when it kicks on) and a 1.5 ton mini split, a well pump at 250ft, radiant floors, and 3 refrigerators (House, Garage and Shop) and this thing just simply works. I have about 7kw of solar and 400AH of LifePOE batteries with a 22kw standby generator. We got power!

Well done EG4! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to run their entire house off grid. Install is easy and straight forward and support is helpful if needed (firmware updates). Stop looking at it and buy it, you will not regret it!
