Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (see return process above), and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Our goal is to consistently provide the best pricing in the marketplace online and we work very diligently to do so. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (see return process above), and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Price Match Policy

This design was not familiar to me until my wife showed me this. We have a large eat-in kitchen with just 2 windows, so this design allows more daylight in, which is a big plus. The other big plus is how quiet the unit is, especially on low fan setting; you can barely hear any noise, even though it is still pumping out the cold air. This would be ideal in a bedroom. It is also ideal for high windows (such as multi-story apartment buildings) because this cannot fall out of the window! I was able to easily install this from inside the house, and seal any minor gaps that remained with thin weatherstripping without climbing a ladder on the outside; another big plus. My concern was that this design might restrict the cold air flow, but that is not an issue at all; this can really throw the air, which is also just as cold (or colder) than the usual window AC unit. The fins that control the direction of the air flow are larger than anything I have seen on other AC units, which is another plus. I was able to lift this through the window opening myself, but at 68 pounds, it's best to probably have two people lifting. They provide what is needed for the install; no searching for Plexiglas to cut to fill air gaps! I give 5 stars overall; install is a bit of grunt work to lift this unit up and over the window. I have not used the remote control, which has lots of capability, but I have never used remotes with any of my AC systems. If you want more window space with the safety of not losing the AC out the window, this is a good choice. I recommend this AC.

Great AC unit for windows that slide open left and right.
I been looking for a good AC unit for a large bedroom where I setup my work from home office in. Majority of in window units are for the type of windows that you open up and down and mine opens left and right. After lots of research online I decided on the Soleus Air 8000 BTU AC unit. I followed the directions let the box set right side up level for 24 hours before installing. Once unboxed the unit is no where as heavy as the box was. I was able to easily pick it up and install it in my window. I also purchased the Soleus Air Sliding Window Kit (which I think is a bit over priced) But I'm not handy enough to make my own. Oh did I mention I live in an apartment so I needed something that I would not be modifying the window or window sill to install an AC. This unit is great, very quiet in the Queit mode and cools my room in 15 minutes or less from 80-85 degrees to 70-68 degrees on the lowest fan setting. I did add some extra vibration dampening to the rubber adjustable legs on the outside of the unit just to be sure less vibration and noise is transferred to downstairs neighbor. But no complaints from them. I asked them if they noticed any new noise since I had the Soleus for 2 weeks now and they did not notice at all. Also why I didn't go with one of those portable AC units with the hoses going out the window. Well those hoses get very hot and transfer heat back into your room making it a less efficient system ( I know because I owned one in the past) and I did want those ugly hoses either. I would recommend the Soleus Air 8000 BTU AC unit.

3rd Summer and Love It
I'm starting my third summer with this unit. This 8000 BTU unit replaced a 12,000 BTU portable air conditioner. Right away I saw three major differences. The first was I got back some floor space in my very small house. The second was that the house became a lot quieter. The third was that this new air conditioner runs a lot less and keeps the house a lot cooler.
My home has 672 square feet (about 63 m^2). This air conditioner isn't rated for that much, but I don't have an open floorplan. In the hot weather, I can close the door to the bedroom, and the kitchen is through a narrow opening. The result is that I am comfortable. When I cook, I feel the temperature difference.
Most of the time, I run this air conditioner on "quiet" mode. Since I have a YouTube channel, I frequently film in front of it. I used to have to turn off the portable. I can actually record with this running. Nice not to be dripping sweat in summer when filming my videos!
I have this unit in my living room. At night, I can usually open up the windows to sleep (I live in North Dakota, so temperature vary a lot). But I have also discovered that if I run the fan on my furnace, I can cool the house off in the evening using this unit. The furnace circulates the air between the rooms, and the air conditioner cools it. As long as I'm comfortable with the 70s, it works on those really hot nights or the occasional night when my neighbor has a late night party.
Another nice feature is that this fits well. My parents actually bought me a traditional window unit. Many of those do not fit my narrow windows. This one does fit. Also, many require additional support so that they don't fall out of the window. This one balances well. So, sadly my parents' gift didn't work. But now they have a window unit that actually works great in their house!

Plenty of Cooling for the Price
Purchased this as an auxiliary solution to support an aging 2nd floor central air conditioner. I chose it so no exterior shelf or bracing would be needed. It's a bigger than I expected, both inside and out, and very heavy, so I was glad I had a couple of stronger family members to take it upstairs and install it. They said there was no problem placing it in our traditional double-hung window. It's in a large master suite on the southwest side of the house and keeps the rooms much cooler. Even without direct line of sight, the remote works from across the room if I need to adjust the temperature in the middle of the night. Occasionally I notice it turning on, but I don't find it excessively loud at all. Outside the master bedroom is a staircase, a t-shaped hall, and an open foyer. That central part of the house funnels and traps heat that rises from downstairs. It's been in the 90s outdoors nearly every day this summer, and by placing a small fan blowing out of the bedroom, that area outside it also stays more comfortable. So the 8000 BTU machine is giving me a lot of cooling for my money and after a month of use I have no complaints.

When I first came across this unit when searching for a new AC for our living room, I had an inkling of an idea that with the 'working' parts outside, below the window instead of in the window, that it might be a little bit quieter. I had no idea. Delivered yesterday, sat upright to let oils settle for 24 hours and installed this afternoon. I cannot believe how quiet this unit actually is running, just wow. I actually downloaded a sound meter app on my phone just to confirm what I suspected, at about 6 ft, it reads about 45 db and is listed in the 'quiet library' category. We've had issues with carrying on conversations in this room with other 'normal' window a/c's running, but this one is almost not noticeable. When the old, traditional window mount unit would move into a compressor cycle it was like that whole wall vibrated and the house shook. I did 'modify' the install a bit, built up the sill to level with the storm window frame and then covered sill-frame with a high density foam cushion cut to size to help seal and isolate vibrations a bit (we've had problems in the past with sparrows nesting in the voids created between traditional units and the window frame). I've stayed in 4 & 5-star rated hotels that have built-in room units twice as loud as this, which might be a good thing hotel wise, they do drown out the noise from other rooms. Highly recommend this unit for a 'common space' in your home where TV's are watched, conversations taken place, anywhere you want ambient noise to be at a minimum and comfort at maximum. Longevity remains to be seen, but overall very happy with purchase.
Very well thought out product. I turned this from an upflow unit to a downflow with a 10kw heat strip. The air handler unit was a perfect fit from my old one (35 year old Lennox) so I didn’t have to do any sheet metal work which was nice. I used the 25 ft diy lineset which I was impressed with the no kink lineset. Made it much easier to make bends without kinking. Hooking up the lineset to the A coil and condenser was a breeze. I was impressed with the design, they put a lot of work into making this an install friendly unit. Their technical support was very knowledgeable. I’ve only been able to run the heat pump, the unit has very good air flow. If they were a little bit cheaper on their gas furnace units I would start putting these in my rentals.

I was pleased to find this kit for my heat pump replacement project. I’ve never done any ductwork, so was reluctant, but was pleasantly amazed at the finished job using this kit. The secret is to first do layout drawings for what you need, then factor in the overlaps, and then double check before you start cutting.

This unit surpassed every expectation I had. I researched mini splits for a year. (Barn rehab) I talked to people that have them and read a ton of reviews. I was told it is all about customer service. I got someone on the phone while my heating and cooling guy was standing right there.☆☆☆☆☆!! Then he made the simple connections and turned it on. I am in complete awe. Within 5 minutes the area was warming. I bought 24,000 btu for my 1000sqft area and it is outstanding. Now I will wait to see how efficient it is on electric. Fingers crossed. Very Happy After A Month of Operation
Purchased 24KBtu unit for a 14x65 2Br Mobile Home. Relatively straightforward installation, but not for everyone. I made a dumb mistake in wiring between the indoor unit and outdoor, resulting in an error, so I called Mini Split Systems Direct up and we got it resolved. Purchased a vacuum pump, gauges, and line set covers from Mini Split Systems Direct to complete the project.
It has worked great since I rectified my wiring mistake. It's only been in heat mode (Jan in NC), and generates impressive heat and airflow at next to zero noise. The condenser unit outside is also very quiet. Time will tell on the reliability and efficiency, but everything I've seen thus far makes me optimistic.

Efficient, compact, possible to DIY install
Pretty quiet and compact unit, managed to DIY install 3 ton myself including ductwork, custom plenums and new electrical / drainage / thermostat wiring in 3 full weekends. Quick connect lineset made this possible (no vacuum or soldering needed!) Seems to be pretty efficient so far (northern california climate)

Love being able to install all by myself.
I take pride in my work and feel confident that my install was done better then hiring an HVAC company. I know many in that profession get their feelings hurt when you bring up doing it yourself. Was quoted $9k for system replacement and I was able to do for less than $4k. This is not for your average DYI person as custom duct work and electrical upgrades will likely be needed. I had about 31 hours into this replacement. That includes tarring out, pouring concrete pad, custom duct work, electrical upgrades, and system calibration. If your line set length is going to be close I recommend going up a size. I had planned to have about 6ft extra but due to line hookup locations I had just the right amount.
I had to call Mini Split Systems Direct support to ask about my thermostat compatibility and they were helpful.

I'm very happy with the results of this unit. The ac works amazingly well compared to the older carrier air conditioner. The lines were very hard to bend without damage and I would suggest have a line-set with elbows where needed installed. The unit is very quiet and worked with my Nest Thermostat.

Very impressed with the ease of intall and quality
The item was shipped quickly and arrived ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, after unpacking I noticed some damage on the outdoor condensing unit. This was a little concerning because I had to install it pretty quickly in order to get the air back on. I contacted. Mini Split Systems Direct and they got back with me within a few hours. I sent them some photos and a description and they took care of it immediately. The new part was shipped free of charge and arrived. Just a couple of days later.
Everything has been installed and working perfectly, I’m very pleased with both the product and Mini Split Systems Direct for fixing an issue that they may not have even created. so often you have people passing the buck, but they took care of me and I thank them for that. I would not hesitate to order from them again.
As for the Mr. cool unit and line set, it did take two people to install it and a little bit of troubleshooting with the thermostat, but it is working perfectly now for the last couple of weeks even in quite hot weather. The inside unit is extremely quiet, I used it to replace an old air conditioner which was much louder.
Time will tell if the annual energy consumption/cost goes down and how long it will last, but the workmanship seems to be very high-quality.

DIY Gas Pack Conversion
I've done AC work in the past but not at this level. This DIY kit made it easier as the lines were already charged, and no vacuum needed. My challenge was removing an old 3-ton Rheem propane gas-pack (see pic) which was R-22 and installed in the mid 80's in my 1792 farmhouse.
It took weeks to complete because of the ductwork that needed to be removed from the crawlspace and I had to fabricate ductwork including the air handler now located in the house (see pic).
I waited right before summer to do this job and have lots of pics and info on the Levi Creecy website.
living in NC our winters are not terrible, so I did not buy the heat pump model and opted for the heat kit.
My old unit was 3 tons and ran on a 50 amp breaker, now runs on a 35 amp, This Mr. Cool is very quite in comparison, AC Outputs are very impressive. Yes, my electric bill went down this summer.
My SENSI smart thermostat had to be rewired and reprogramed however I'm not missing any functions/features.
