Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders made before 2:00 PM EST are processed within 2-3 business days. Items ordered on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) start to process and ship as early as the following business day.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

We offer standard free shipping via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, and Freight for all orders in the United States. We do not currently ship to international locations.

Damages & Missing Items

Only refuse the items that are damaged, keep and sign for the items that are in good condition and be sure to notate the items that are being refused for damages clearly on the delivery receipt. You must contact our Customer Service Department at info@minisplitsystemsdirect.com to report which product(s) were missing and/or refused for damages and which product(s) were accepted at the time of delivery. After our Shipping Department receives confirmation from the Freight LTL Company we will promptly ship out the replacement product(s) to you.

Although Mini Split Systems Direct is NOT responsible for shipping damage, if your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to info@minisplitsystemsdirect.com  and we can assist with filing a claim against the shipping carrier to cover the cost of damages.

Pre-Orders, Backorders, and Out-of-Stock Items:

Mini Split Systems Direct is dedicated to sourcing any item you may need and getting it to you as quickly as possible. Any items that are out of stock, or available for Pre-Order will be noted on the product page. You are welcome to place an order for Pre-Order items, backorder items, and for items that are out of stock, and will ship them the second they become available from the manufacturer, ensuring you get the item before anyone else. Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.

All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and the purchaser is responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. A 15% restocking fee and the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refundPlease allow up to 10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account. Cancellations

All orders canceled after 24 hours are subject to a 5% administration fee, If your order has not been shipped yet, this is the only fee you will incur. This is a fee that covers administrative and personnel fees.

If your order has been shipped, you will not be charged a 5% administration fee, the standard return procedures will apply and you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, and a 15% restocking fee will be ducted from your refund. Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method that you used when placing your order.

Noticeably better air in bedroom

Me and my wife were having issues with dust in our apartment and still are and aren't sure why. But we are stuck here for at least another year. It was so bad you could taste and feel the dust. Got this and it was like a miracle I thought we would have to wait like a day or something to notice the better air but it was noticeable within like 10-30 minutes. The only issue is that the air is so bad here that we go through the air filters way way way faster than I was planning on since I was expecting them to last like 6-8 months each and the first one lasted like 1-2 weeks but the air was extremely dusty so I understood why it clogged up the air filter very quickly. However its still going through air filters at about 1 every 2 months at max speed 24/7 which is a little expensive considering how much the air filters cost. Absolutely worth it. Just a bit more expensive than I was planning on it being. Maybe if you don't have a big dust issue in your house/apartment your air filters will last longer. The noise on max setting is fairly substantial by the way. It could be a good white noise for sleep though if you like that fan type of noise but otherwise you will want to turn it down at night so its not as loud but me and my wife keep it on max 24/7 anyways.

Good option

Very good option for an air purifier. Even works for smoking (at least to an extend). If you are just filtering your everyday air in your house this a good option. I would say for a small or medium size bedroom. It would work on a large living room as well as long as it is not a 5000 sq ft open floor plan. However for a the larger rooms you would probably need to keep it on high speed in order to be effective. Same if you are using it in a smoking room. The down side is the OEM filters are expensive, you will have to look for the once a year sale. There are many 3rd party filter alternatives for this model. Can't say they do exactly the same job.

This is perfectly quiet running on the middle speed. It arrived in it’s factory commercial box inside a larger box, in perfect condition!! No assembly required, just remove the plastic wrap from the filter first then plug into the base plug !! Wonderful users guide helps with setup and settings.. SOLD and HAPPY !!!

Seems to work, but no way to be sure at this early stage

Priced affordably. Smaller in size than expected. Had our eyes on another, larger unit that was triple the price, and double the size of this one. Had our eyes on it too long without purchasing, so if we were getting a filter, it had to be more affordable. Makes some noise, but not really noticeable. We leave it on "high", no reason to reduce the setting, making it quieter, essentially less effective, and we leave it running constantly. Air flow comes out the top, at an approximate 45 degree angle to the side, making it directional, and able to aim where we want the "wind". Wind is noticeable, depending how the currents are affected by room shape, up to 15-20 feet away. But that's not a problem for us as long as we direct it properly. Wife is concerned about the $30+ recurring cost of a replacement filter, but I assured her that it's projected to last 6 months. She's accustomed to washable filters. We've only had this filter a couple of weeks, and don't have a dirty filter as evidence, yet. Our enemy is wind driven sand, here on the coastline. So Light-colored dust is not expected to show very prominently on the filter material. I'm sure three of these filters would do a better job of one like the one we originally wanted. I'm not opposed to doing that. We issued five stars because we find no faults, yet. Will update as necessary.

Miracle unit

I bought one unit last year to test if really works. My surprise was amazing….. in just one month we saw the difference in the air at home.

My wife told me … wow what a difference now and before, unbelievable but the dust and hair almost disappeared from the house. The unit is upstairs, so now I bought a second unit for downstairs..
Believe me, I have a dog and 2 cats and dust and hair almost disappeared with one unit , now that I have another one downstairs will be fabulous.

Filters are very good and you change every 3 months more or less. I recommend the Unit, …. Works beautiful 🤗

Noticeably better air in bedroom

Me and my wife were having issues with dust in our apartment and still are and aren't sure why. But we are stuck here for at least another year. It was so bad you could taste and feel the dust. Got this and it was like a miracle I thought we would have to wait like a day or something to notice the better air but it was noticeable within like 10-30 minutes. The only issue is that the air is so bad here that we go through the air filters way way way faster than I was planning on since I was expecting them to last like 6-8 months each and the first one lasted like 1-2 weeks but the air was extremely dusty so I understood why it clogged up the air filter very quickly. However its still going through air filters at about 1 every 2 months at max speed 24/7 which is a little expensive considering how much the air filters cost. Absolutely worth it. Just a bit more expensive than I was planning on it being. Maybe if you don't have a big dust issue in your house/apartment your air filters will last longer. The noise on max setting is fairly substantial by the way. It could be a good white noise for sleep though if you like that fan type of noise but otherwise you will want to turn it down at night so its not as loud but me and my wife keep it on max 24/7 anyways.

Good option

Very good option for an air purifier. Even works for smoking (at least to an extend). If you are just filtering your everyday air in your house this a good option. I would say for a small or medium size bedroom. It would work on a large living room as well as long as it is not a 5000 sq ft open floor plan. However for a the larger rooms you would probably need to keep it on high speed in order to be effective. Same if you are using it in a smoking room. The down side is the OEM filters are expensive, you will have to look for the once a year sale. There are many 3rd party filter alternatives for this model. Can't say they do exactly the same job.

This is perfectly quiet running on the middle speed. It arrived in it’s factory commercial box inside a larger box, in perfect condition!!
