The MRCOOL® DIY Mini Split 42,000 BTU 21.5 SEER 3 Zone Ductless Air Conditioner and Heat Pump 9K + 9K + 24K offers a complete solution to your home’s heating and cooling needs. This system can heat & cool two distinct areas up to 450 square feet with the 9K air handlers, and one area up to 1,200 square feet with the 24k air handler, all while capable of an Energy Star-certified, 21.5 SEER high-efficiency rating. However, the best feature of this system is the ease of installation it provides to the homeowner. With the included pre-charged line sets, some hand tools, and a few hours of time this entire system can be completely installed. This system comes equipped with many functions that separate it from the rest. It has multiple operating modes, which include AUTO, HEAT, COOL, FAN-ONLY, DRY (dehumidification) and SLEEP. It also features the Follow Me function, which allows the system to continually adjust the room temperature based on where the hand-held remote controller is. It even has the ability to provide heat when temperatures drop to -13°F. It features a Gold Fin Condenser coating which allows it to withstand the elements and resist corrosion. MrCool stands behind the quality & durability of this condenser by being the only manufacturer to offer a limited lifetime compressor warranty. However, the most innovative feature is that it can be installed by the homeowner without the use of a certified technician. This is possible because the condenser is intended to be used with MrCool’s patented Pre-Charged Quick Connect Line Sets. These line sets are precharged with R-410A refrigerant and feature quick connect connectors which allow it to be connected using only wrenches.
