Whether you need to cool a single room or manage climate control across 2, 3, 4, or 5 rooms, choosing between single-zone and multi-zone mini splits is a foundational step in your HVAC planning.

Single-Zone Systems

A single-zone system consists of one outdoor condenser connected to one indoor air handler (wall mount, ceiling cassette, or ducted). They offer maximum efficiency and independent control for a primary room or addition.

Multi-Zone Systems

A multi-zone system connects up to 5 indoor air handlers to a single outdoor multi-circuit condenser. Each indoor unit can be individually sized (e.g. 9K BTU for bedroom, 18K BTU for living area) and controlled independently via remote or Wi-Fi.
